Thanks Ella! Yes the playback part is pretty important to me. So I'll stick with PlayScore for now and see how it goes.

Hi, Scanned PDFs are never going to turn out particularly well regardless of program. I think SharpEye and PlayScore 2 are about the same in quality.
I don't use PlayScore often enough to have a continuous subscription so I just buy monthly subscriptions and cancel right away. A yearly subscription is also an option if you use it all the time, though it's kinda expensive.
And yes, I believe you can get SharpEye separately, though if you care about playback in the program PlayScore may be easier to use.
