Hi MISHA,

It depends upon what your music goals are. If you sing a lot in choirs, Braille music is essential. You not only have the notes so you know when to cut off, but you also have the dynamics. It's never a guessing game like it is if you're learning music only by ear. I was primarily a vocalist in my younger years, and I relied heavily on Braille music. I couldn't have gotten through college without it!
