--></style></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink="#954F72" style='word-wrap:break-word'><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Hi:</p><p class=MsoNormal>There are several factors of interest:</p><p class=MsoNormal>First how to best interact in real-time forlectures and questions.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Zoom should work fine for this and folks use it so we have a good help base.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Next how to demonstrate sample playing, explain what to do, how and when for each sample.</p><p class=MsoNormal>First, Zoom for demonstrating and listening to sample music phrases licks or other audio samples, played by instructor or student, where synchronized two way, real-time communications are not required, should work.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Second, the use of pre-recorded samples and lesson subject matter in something like Audacity or Reaper would allow for play-along practice against sample phrases, songs or backing tracks when distributed to students .</p><p class=MsoNormal>The distributed materials could be tailored by the instructor or even the student if they can use a recording app like Audacity to play slower or even change keys.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Note there are interested members on other e-lists.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Would it be better to have a dedicated e-list, and or twitter or other accounts, or run all messages on music talk list?</p><p class=MsoNormal>Would the increased traffic impose a burdon on non-interested members?</p><p class=MsoNormal>If you are interested in hosting something or managing a e-list or whatever twitter requires or anything else,</p><p class=MsoNormal>Post up here or contact me off list @: </p><p class=MsoNormal>[richardrthomas48@gmail.com]</p><p class=MsoNormal>I am trying to learn zoom and having trouble logging on but will get it worked out and then host a meeting but there is good reason to have other zoom managers involved.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Later, thanks for all the interest and see you on the flip-side:</p><p class=MsoNormal>Richard R.
