--></style></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink="#954F72" style='word-wrap:break-word'><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Hi Players and Producers:</p><p class=MsoNormal>I want to start playing in some online talent shows and, or, play live online using something like zoom or whatever is a good platform for playing online.</p><p class=MsoNormal>I want to run my mike through my Motu Input Device then through Audacity and then out to the zoom for all zoom participants to listen to.</p><p class=MsoNormal>I want to add some subtle effects to the performance, a dap of delay and reverb to thicken the sound just a touch, perhaps some compression to balance the ukulele, vocal and harmonica.</p><p class=MsoNormal>If possible I might add a harmony, either recorded or auto-generated, for small parts of say the chorus or words or phrases I want to emphasize.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Has anyone done something like this?</p><p class=MsoNormal>I think it would be similar to performing live running a mike and, or, instrument through a DAW and applying looping and effects before passing the output to a PA system but I have never done that yet either.</p><p class=MsoNormal>So, level 101, anyy initial pointers and, or, articles etc…</p><p class=MsoNormal>P.S.</p><p class=MsoNormal>Thinking of getting a keyboard for midi (if I can learn Reaper enough to make it work) so any related pointers about midi and liveperformances, especially online, is appreciated since I know this is the Audacity list but I like Audacity and plan to use it until I absolutely need midi..</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thanks:</p><p class=MsoNormal>Rick USA</p></div></body></html>
