I don't happen to be an NFB member, so would the NFB need to approve what I do, or could I do it independently and offer it as a resource with the NFB saying that they didn't endorse it?

While it is the list, I think to have a more centralized tip sumary space
would be handy. That way, you would not have to search through other things
that are discussed here. Go for it, and make it work.
