Hi Albert,
What commission would that be?
Thanks.

I like the way you think. Maybe we could build a page on my site which would
serve as a spring board to an independently run site once all was in order.
We are working on trying to provide one spot, my blind spot, where the blind
could go and find info to empower them to greatness. It is still in the
formative stages, but I am proud of our accomplishments. Did you know that
the commission provides a 15k matching grant to entrepreneurs? Big secret
right. Cheryl and I are working to unravel the mystery as we speak. Read on
my brother and share whatever sounds possible.

Hi All,
I've been reading this discussion with great interest. A few weeks ago I
found a book on the NLS BARD site called The Secrets of Internet
Millionaires, or something like that. When I first saw the title, I thought
that it looked like one of those get rich quick things, so I grabbed it and
started reading it so I could have a laugh. The book seems to have some
possibly good ideas in it, though. I'm not through reading it yet, and I
think I'm going to read it at least a second time to pay closer attention to
the details. I thought you might want to download or borrow it to see if it
might help you. I don't have a business yet, but have been lurking on this
list for a long time and posting occasionally.
I've been contemplating the idea of helping blind people interested in
having web sites to get up and running with web hosting at a low cost. I'm
thinking of using a system that would shield you from the technical details
of knowing HTML, PHP, JavaScript and all that other stuff. The system isn't
perfectly accessible, but is very accessible.
There's something else I've been thinking about. Every once in a while,
someone posts some sort of wisdom on this list about what they do in their
business, but it seems that when you try to find it because you may need to
use it, it's very difficult to find. What if there were a web site where you
could go to post business building information especially for blind people
or if there was a group of people whose purpose was to simply help each
other over hurdles such as how to market off line when you can't just walk
up to people easily, or whatever.
Thanks for reading my brain storming.
Jim
Thanks.

I would say the only thing about a house of worship, is you would not want
to make that the only reason for being therre. But you can mention it to
people when you are talking with them. While it probably would not be
appropriate during the meet and grett, one could use the after worship time
to do that.
I also know though that it comes down to numbers. Even the big chains do
not get sales from all they target. And they can reach many more people
than we could ever hope to reach.
