[nabentre] Good morning all

Hey, that million sounds good...*winky*
I'd also like to have a home business -- but I want it to be part time, at
least at first. I miss the social interaction of being at workk, but if I
have a business that takes off, I can hire people to work at my home,
right??? (just dreaming)
I have some ideas but my plate is full doing the things I need to do every
day. If I really want to do this I need to rearrange my life.
(Sound familiar to anyone?)
As for advertizing, selling goods on amazon might be a possibility. People
will browse, or search for things, and you can set up your page to catch a
wide range of relevant searches.
Just a thought.
Happy selling!
It's still the first month of the year (for a few hours anyway) --so happy
new year still applies. Good luck!

I am not looking to make a million dollars. ROFL, Yes I am.
Okay, Okay, I am doing this to have something that I can put my name on and
be a business owner. I am the boss, I control who, what, where, when and
why.
I am also doing it for health reasons, I had a kidney transplant in 2005, in
fact this weekend I am morning my best friend who died of cancer this past
friday, nothing to do with the transplant. But I can work from home,
especially in the bad cold weather that we are having here in NY, and not to
worry about standing on the corner waiting for the bus to go to work.
And yes I do get out of the house to meet my clients in they are in my area,
or have webinars or conference calls as well.
It is has its advantages.

True, but one will generate a lot less interest being at home then perhaps
out during a meet and greet or at a hospitality hour after service.
Marketing is not a simple science that is for sure.

I would say the only thing about a house of worship, is you would not want
to make that the only reason for being therre. But you can mention it to
people when you are talking with them. While it probably would not be
appropriate during the meet and grett, one could use the after worship
time
to do that.
I also know though that it comes down to numbers. Even the big chains do
not get sales from all they target. And they can reach many more people
than we could ever hope to reach.
