I just want to clear up a couple of things.

1. Voc rehab will pay for you to attend an out-of-state training center. 
This has been happening for several years now. The 1992 amendments to the 
Rehabilitation changed the law.

2. Voc rehab isn't going to take your equipment away unless they determine 
that you dropped out of a training program or the purchased equipment 
isn't being used. It may not happen, even then. Every state is different. 
After you own a piece of equipment, it will eventually belong to you after 
a certain period of time. Check the rules of your state.
