[nabentre] Thanks For Slamming the Door On Opportunity!

Hi All,

I'm just going to be very real here. This thread with this negative subject line, is this what you really want out there? If someone says they don't want what you are offering do you really want to have such a negative thread of emails attached to you? What we put out there has a real impact and if someone says I'd rather not do MLM, I'd rather not do Amway or hey, I'd rather not have whatever it isn't a slam at you. They simply don't want it and that's ok. Some people want MLM and are open to it and some do not. Some people find they can work an MLM very successfully and some do not. It doesn't mean the MLM doesn't work or that people are slamming doors on opportunities just because they don't wan your particular brand of business.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we need to be more gentle with one another on this list. There are so many opportunities and we have a very unique chance to network with others who are blind and trying the business route. Could we be more supportive of one another? Also, if these are the kinds of emails we write to one another then that energy is only going to go out into our businesses and we will absolutely not attract the people we want. No matter how much you might sit there and say you don't do this in the world, the kind of energy it takes to produce some of the emails on this list can only spread outwards. If we have these kind of knee-jerk reactions to one another then maybe it is time to take a very long hard look at ourselves. Nothing good can ever come from anyone producing such negative content.

I ask that people refrain from writing me privately if you have things to say. If you can't say it to the group then you shouldn't be saying it at all. I've said what I need to say and that's all I have to say about it. I won't defend my position or make any further comments. It is finished, done and over. I just hope that we can be more mindful of the ways in which we support one another because that is the true spirit of the Federation or at least that's my experience anyway.

So please do myself and everyone else on here a personal favor and climb down from that high horse. I'll bet the air's mighty thin up there.
