Most people who succeed, have gone through failures. It's real life
education you can't get in books, seminars, classes, etc.
So, you are learning. Count that as tuition. And I don't mean that
flippantly.
I'm not a millionaire. It hasn't been a focus to this point. But I've
been in successful businesses of various sorts my whole life. Take it in
that context.
As for succeeding. It depends on what is your burning desire.
What you would do whether you got paid to do it or not.
When you know that? It will get you through the thin times.
Regarding discrimination. I get it. And I don't mean to sound in
sensitive, but seeing yourself as a victim will not serve you well. I'm
not suggesting you are in totality, just picking up on your comment there.
Discrimination exists, but it is a hurdle, not a road block. If you see
yourself as the discriminated, others will too.
But I get it, you are reaching out in need, and certainly don't intend
to appear wounding, but it is an important part of success in our unique
situation.
As for funding a business from scratch, I think it depends there too, on
the business.
If you have a solid business plan, it's possible you could find someone
to become a partner or a venture capitalist.
It depends on your market, especially now amid a pandemic.
Marketing plays a huge part.
A really smart businessman in my failed challenged some students of his.
Asked if any marketing wish were granted for them to open a hamburger
shop, what is the one wish they'd want. Of course, they took the typical
book smart answer: location, location, location. They'd pick the busiest
corner.
The businessman said, I wouldn't and I'd out sell all of you.
I'd wish I could market to the hungriest people I could find."
There's a lot of info in there if you mine it.
I think it would help if you gave some background information: what
business you're in, what you've tried, who are your customers, do you
have a business plan in place, and the big one... why do you want to be
in that business. Stuff like that.
I also understand, unfortunately, this list has become a bit volatile at
times and you may be guarded. That isn't a poke in the bees nest, just
what has been at times.
There's also some really helpful people here.

> I know others can relate, so here goes. How do you go from being an SSI recipient to a multimillionaire/billionaire? I've been struggling to achieve success. I've been discriminated by colleges and employers. I have read so many different business books, attended seminars, etc. I have done Mlms without success. I've formed 2 companies. My first one failed, and my second company I can hardly get off the ground because I don't have the capital and support that I need to be able to build my team and expand out. My credit is also low. Any advice from successful blind entrepreneurs would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, there are some accessibility hurtles, however I am able to effectively run my Avon business as a direct delivery only business and I've got 64 people on my team.
