Hi Lisa,

Welcome to the NABOP mailing list.
As president of National Association of Blind Office Professionals (NABOP),
things have been very busy at Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually
Impaired in Cincinnati, Ohio. I work as a Braille Proofreader and I also
hold a Literary certification from NLS of Library of Congress as a braille
transcriber.
Each day at work I read anywhere between 80 to 100 pages a day, someday like
today, I read 128 pages of braille.
A lot depends on the complexity of the material and how many errors are
found on the page.
I work with a different copyholder each day and each day brings new projects
such as books and magazines for NLS.
If I can be of assistance to you, write to the list and someone will
respond.
