[nabop] coding software.

Sorry you thought that was directed toward you. I am so aware of how
agencies and others try to send you where they want you to go. I am also
over 40, grounded with five kids and pretty set in my ways, which means that
I don't steer too easily. Obviously, neither do you. Props.

If you can recall, is there any particular practice management software that
you used during your training?

I hope it wasn't taken in an insulting way at all, being the first to
graduate a prominent Medical Billing School here on Long Island and the East
Coast, at least, I was the first to graduate the course here on Long Island.
I also had to get a lot of help from the NFB, as well as being a NY State
Scholarship winner in 2007 for this field.
Also working in the field, and seeing my friends who I graduate with that
are still trying to get jobs, who are sighted, that it is hard to get into.
I do some work on the side still, and keep up my certification every year.
Being a business owner as well, I need to do something other than being a
travel professional, so I do some billing on the side.
Just giving some friendly advice and experience, again great field to go
into, also great course, because you study business, that should help you in
any field you go into.
I did this all at the age of 40 being a medical biller.
After losing my vision 5 years earlier.
