[nabs-l] social interaction

As far as El Salvador is concerned, it's not that people are 
ignorant, it's the  cultural contexts we need to take into 
consideration.  There aren't that many blind people I don't 
believe in El Salvador, and many people haven't been around many 
blind people.  I don't get offended easily when I'm asked those 
questions, I just explain that  I can do anything sighted people 
can do, well, except for drive.  I've evendone that once in my 
life.  Smile.  You're right, though, it's just a matter of 
educating the public about what we can do!
