[nabs-l] verizon phone question

Hi,

Verizon has many phones that work with Mobile Speaks. I believe there is a
list available on Code Factory's website. The HTC Ozone is the one with
which they are currently offering a discounted license for Talks. One
cautionary anecdote: A friend of mine purchased the Ozone with Talks about
three and a half weeks ago. It did not install properly, and still is not
working. In trying to have the situation remedied with Verizon, it has
become quite clear that nobody at that company has any idea what they are
talking about in regards to accessible phones. Their "Specialist" who
supposedly deals with Mobile Speaks is completely ignorant of even the
basics. I'll save you my rant. Bottom line; it still does not work. The
license is not recognized as valid, and even in ten minute mode, pressing
many keys yields a description of what the key should be doing (i.e. "up",
"left" "down",) rather than performing the action. Talks is not in training
mode. Curious if anybody knows of others who have either experienced similar
problems or had success running Talks on an Ozone.

Thanks,

Sean
