hi beth
first i want to say yay and not for dropping the music major but for the
social work. I am also majoring in social work and yes there are MANY
opportunities with social work. You can work in just about any setting you
would like. First you have to talk to your advisor about changing your
major.
I have also had roommate problems but not in a dorm. we had apartments on
campus. With the changing a dorm some schools change rooms each year anyways
and you just need to talk to the resident life person at your school. Maybe
even ask for a room by yourself.
once again sorry about dropping the music major but look at all your options
before you make a decision as big as this and make sure you really want to
do it. With as many things out there as there is maybe you wont have to
change.
