I can understand paying the retail price for books, as any other
student has to do that. Yes it costs a lot, but it costs a lot for
sighted students too and how can we expect to be treated equally if we
don't do at least what our sighted peers do. However, paying more to
get the books in an alternate format is stupid in my opinion - that
should never happen.
