Sorry for the cross-post.  I figure these two lists might see the largest
audiences for notebook purchases.  I'm currently in the market for a new
notebook, and my two most highly recommended sites for those of you in the
midst of, or on the verge of, purchasing a new system are:

I know investing in computers can be a time-consuming endeavor.  I'm going
