[nabs-l] Do you find this offensive?

The question I will pose is what exactly constitutes a response? I
would think a letter to the editor protesting it would be a response
of the sort that is unnecessary. What Haben has suggested for her
own entry isn't really quite the same as the sort of response that
seems to be discussed here.
Am I misinterpreting?
