There's also the problem of parents using the stickers for their own benefit, even when I'm not in the car, like my mother sometimes does.

I will say that if you are in high school and your mom picks you up they are
nice because your parent or whoever can just say "I'm parked in the
handicapped spot" and you can come out and know exactly where to find them
and hop in. My mom did that sometimes.

My mom has a one of those parking sticker. She uses it all the time
when I am in the car. I personally love them. They let me and my mom
get easy access to parking spots.
