I wouldn't go so far as to say we wouldn't be able to resolve our  
differences simply because of being on different paths however, I can  
respect the idea that it might not be this generation that does it.   
Also, things that have been deemed impossible have been done/seen  
before.  If we really put our minds to resolving the inter- 
organization (war) so to speak, we may be the generation that sees the  
light from both sides.
