I don't care about differences in beliefs or philosophy in my friendships--I 
enjoy the breadth. I do care about knowing whose requests I am accepting. If 
someone leaves a comment to me with the request that indicates they know me 
from somewhere, I am likely to accept. Otherwise, I am likely to sit on it.
