[nabs-l] access to appliances

Hi Bill,
What is the technology rights bill about? I heard of it but don't know
much. Anyone know if it passed the congress?
Where can I find the accessible home showcase?

Arielle, thanks for the detailed description of centering dishes on flat
stove tops. I already used my hand above the heat but had trouble
centering. Feeling for an equal amount of heat should help.
Yes ovens and microwaves can be labeled.
What tactile dots do you recommend?

So far I used dimo tape.

Christina, gas stoves are not flat yet. They still have raised burners.
Our stove is electric and most electric ones now are flat and in the past
were more tactile.

Ashley
