Sounds like a wrapping issue or possibly a difference in how your two
systems handle line breaks. Answering these two questions would help.

1. What is the format of the document? Word, text, etc.

2. What operating system does the person sending you have? OSX (newer
MAC), older MAC, Linux, Windows, etc.
