[nabs-l] being scholastically social?

I consider myself to be very academic-oriented. My career goal is to become
a researcher and university professor of cognitive psychology, but f you
only focus on work and nothing else though, if you don't branch out and at
least devote a little effort to extracurricular interactions, how will you
develop relationships with future colleagues?
