Mr.  Andrews, ah yes.  If you mean syncing with outlook, haven't 
tried it, so don't know how reliable it is.  Yes I would agree 
that what I said is a rumor.

It will sync stuff with exchange, calendar etc.  I don't think 
the
apex does calendar yet, even though they have promised for years.

p.s.  There is no evidence that the Pac Mate isn't being updated.  
I
would regard what you said as a rumor.  There was an update about 
a
year ago, don't know when or if another will come, but haven't 
heard
it wouldn't.

While these devices are somewhat different in their approaches, 
they
mostly do the same things.  If you are like most of us, a change 
of
this magnitude would have to have a good reason.

So, are there things that you can't do on the Pac Mate that you 
could
on Apex or Braille Sense?  Or is it that PM isn't as glitsy any 
more?

p.s.  I still use a PacMate.  It has synching options that the 
others
don't have, and I need them.  Plus I can use pocket versions of 
Word,
Excel etc.  which I need to do for work.
