  I'll agree that the line depends on personal circumstances-I will
disagree that the amount of vision is the decisive factor.  I'm
totally blind, have been all my life.  I tend to be a little bit more
on the Conservative side of these issues-in other words, what many
blind people see as a necessity I see as a luxury.  So, at least for
me, there's a lot more to it than the amount of vision someone has.  A
lot probably has to do with the way we were all raised, our wider
political idioligies, the values stressed by our particular religions
or belief systems, etc.
