Hello Mike and everyone,

We're still using Office XP here. It's meeting our needs well so we have had
no need to upgrade though that may change in the near future. It's the old
adage of "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

Word XP? Office 2007 and Office 2010 run just fine under XP. Don't you
mean MS Word 2003?

Mike

Hello Sally and everyone,

We recently began using a product called "Doxillian" which is produced
by a company in Australia called NCH Software. This package allows one to
convert between different versions of Word, PDF, TXT,RTF, and other file
formats. We've used it to convert Word .docx files to Word .doc files so we
can read them in Word XP. Best of all this product is free and allows you to

convert documents between multiple file formats. The direct URL for more
information and to download the package is:
http://www.nchsoftware.com/documentconvert/index.html

Did I say that this product is completely free? That's right.

NCH also offers a number of other packages for Windows and the MAC that
work very well with screen reading software out-of-the-box. Their main site
is at:
http://www.nch.com.au

Hope this helps. See y'all in Orlando.

On the shore will be found gallant Irishmen to greet you."
