Hi Sophie,

If you're new to the list, as I'm guessing you are since I
haven't seen your name on here before, welcome to the list!!

If you're talking about Blio, yes it is totally accessible both
on the iPhone and on the PC; in fact, it was developed with
accessibility in mind, not as an afterthought like most programs.
It was developed by KNFB Reading Technologies, which is a
partnership between the NFB and Kurzweil Technologies, Ray
Kurzweil's company.

Thanks,

Chris

Yep. As someone else said, it was created by NFB and some other
company that I can't remember off the top of my head. The App is
free, and it's totally iPhone accessible.

It's E-books, but the app allows you to purchase a voice that

Blio works really well. It's online, but it's also an App you
can download on your iPhone.

Valerie, have you heard of the Blio?
 http://www.blio.com
This is the online version of the KNFB reader, which is the
accessible
 Kendall, for the blind.
 Thanks, Joshua

 Hi,

So one of the features of the kendle from what i hear is that it
will
recommend books to you based on what you've read on kendle.
I gather the Kendle is not accessible. True?
if so, does anyone know of a mac ap or IOS ap that will
recommend books to
you based on ∑i don't know, something you've read?

also, does anyone know of anything that will read or translate
epub or mobi
 format books?

 thanks
