How do the pictures work? JAWS doesn't read even scanned OCR 
pictures, right?

file type.
The service is called "RoboBraille" which in fact has been 
extremely
valuable for me.  It can convert even pictures of text captured 
into a .jpg
image and OCR's them for you and puts them into your email inbox 
in an
accessible, accurate, editable format.  You can even convert 
files into
Braille (.brf) format for use with your note taker.
