I think you could make arrangements with the CCB to do the
independence training part and not the academic part. I agree that
college prep might not be necessary in your case, and forgoing that
part of the program will give you more time to work on O&M, tech and
home management. I think that a summer is enough time to get enough
confidence that you can continue to build the skills on your own.
