[nabs-l] netflixsays "no" to audio description

I personally don't see why we could not have descriptive video service on Netflix. After all, they have alternative language channels. So why not have an alternative descriptive channel? Many films already have descriptive tracks. I doubt it would take much more than for Netflix to upload the descriptive version of videos that already exist. While descriptive video is definitely not on my top list of major issues concerning the blind, I also doubt it takes such a significant amount of effort to make videos descriptive as many services claim. Besides, they are currently working on adding captions for the deaf. So why not add description for the blind? Might as well do both at the same time.

Why not ask, via email or phone, if there is anyone to which one can speak to figure out how you can colaborate to making netflix movies descriptive.
