What I have found is that for reading graduate level texts, I want around 55
words a minute or so for better comprehention.

I have my jaws at rate 86, read roughly 140 words a minute, and have my apex
at rate 13. I have voiceover at normal speed because I don't like its rhythm
when it reads faster.
