[nabs-l] airplane mode and braillenote

Hi all,
I will be travelling out of the country soon.  I will not be 
allowed to use cellular data while there because if you use it 
while out of the country it's super expensive.
I would like to be able to connect my phone with the 
braille-note.  Is it possible to do it in airplane mede? It seems 
to sometimes fake-connect, where it pretends it is connected but 
it reation isn't.  Is there any way to pair the braille-note and 
the phone without cellular data?
