[nabs-l] Qwerty Keyboard

Hi, all,
	I am in a Pilot Program with an IPad and Focus 40 Blue Braille Display. The State Services for the Blind provides my Apex. I have to choose between my IPad and Apex. I have requested an Apex with a Qwirty keyboard as opposed to my braille one. They told me that I would have to learn all new commands. Is this true and is so, how many commands are we talking? Thanks for any help!
