If you are looking for resources for the national scholarship program, nfb.org/scholarships <http://nfb.org/scholarships> is a good place to go to see previous speeches in front of the board meeting by previous winners, as well as Patti Chang’s article on how to win an NFB scholarship.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
