Hi,

while you cannot listen to bard books via your pc, you can download and 
unzip them and listen on many devices such as the victor stream or braille 
note.
For learning ally, you can listen via your pc. Download the free read Here 
software and it should work.
Also, I think freedom scientific's daisy player will read them too.

Hello. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to read either service 
without special software, or apps. I think this is something they should 
rectify, but they do it for security reasons. I hope this helps.
