Fellow Students:

Please see below for an interesting scholarship opportunity for those who
are interested in computer science or other technology-related fields. I
hope some can take advantage of this information.

National Industries for the Blind still seeks a qualified applicant for the
Joseph Roeder Assistive Technology Scholarship, which provides a one-time
award of $2,500 for an individual who is blind to pursue education in
computer science, information systems or a related field leading to a career
in access technology:

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
