Welcome Caitlin!
I am Miso, a rising junior at UCLA.
Nice to have one more Californian on this list..
I have not studied Japanese or Chinese formally, but I am fluent in 
Korean. If you get interested in learning the language and culture, I 
would be happy to help. I also know a few friends who know Japanese 
Braille and handful of sighted Chinese speaking friends and Japanese 
speaking friends.
Lastly, California Association of Blind Students, which is a California 
division of NABS, would love to have you. Please feel free to write to 
me off list if you are interested in any of things I mentioned above.
