[nabs-l] Hello and a question

     Hello. My name is Jessica Hodges and I recently discovered this 
list. I will be going in to twelfth grade, and am going into College and 
high school courses next year to try and get some college credit. Any 
questions are welcome, I am happy to help however I can. However, I also 
have one question for the list. Higher math is required to get somewhere 
in university, and this is always something I have struggled with. In 
doing research, it has appeared that a braille sense would help greatly 
in this, as it eliminates a step between doing a math assignment and 
turning it in. It would also allow me to be able to do math portably. 
Does anyone here know of a way to get one? I have asked my state 
organization, and they are willing to help, but not until the end of 
next year. My school has flatly refused, and college is looking into 
trying to get one but I wouldn't be able to take it off the college 
campus. The Braille sense would also reinvigorate my interest in reading 
braille, which has petered out as I have come to rely heavily on 
electronics, as well as making mathematical and scientific equations 
easy to manipulate and understand. This would also improve spelling 
errors which would make me a more productive typest. I don't mind 
waiting until spring of next year, but I feel that it would be really 
useful in my school career. Does anyone have any suggestions?
