Abby,

Arielle beat me to it regarding protected view.  However, I'm almost certain
that is the issue here.  Given some of the ideas here, I think I would try
to see is I could get a little extra time to show enough progress to pass
the course.  If you have copies of the emails that you sent your professor,
that might help to show you made some efforts, but it does sound as though
no change from the professor should have been required, so you need to take
a careful approach.

I use Jaws, and word 2013. for some reason, I can not use arrows in a 
word document that has comment fields inserted.
Like I said, I have spoken with my prof at least 4 to 5 times about the 
issue, and written emails 4 times re-stating the issue.
