Elizabeth,
I understand where you care coming from. However, the world will not. You
need to get yourself together suck it up, and move on. If you get your
feelings hurt by a little criticism then you will not get far. Trust me I
know. I was told that I was not going to go to college and believed it for a
while. Now, I am about to graduate in the spring of 2017. If I had listened
to those people who told me that I couldn't do it I am not sure where I
would be right now. Not married to a wonderful wife, and great family or
love what I am doing as my career. Again, in the nicest way possible grow up
it's time to be an adult sweetheart.

Thanks,

Hello Cricket,

As the person who created this message thread, I believe I respectfully
asked for this message thread to be closed quite some time ago. I do not
believe this message thread should be brought up again given the fact that
it was rather controversial when it was originally posted. Furthermore, I
really do not appreciate all the harsh criticism, judgement, and negativity
that is found in this message. I am just not in a good place to be dealing
with a lot of harsh criticism, judgement, and negativity right now.

Thanks,
Elizabeth

Hello All,

Cricket Bidleman here. I'm working with the communications committee.
We're trying to put together a blog. We want one entry a month on technology
and one per month from a student or someone who has worked with a student. I
already have some things lined up for the technology stuff, but since I'm
such a nice person, I'm going to save them as surprises, so stay tuned!

That brings me to the testimonial portion of the blog. I will be collecting
stuff from blind students, people who work with blind students (including
sighted students), other blind people, and people who work with other blind
people. Make sense? Hopefully it does.
Anyway, we want stuff from students. Got any awesome success stories you
want to share? Advice for other blind people? Advice for sighted people
working with blind people? Any other form of personal testimonial? If so, we
want to hear from you! Send me an email if you're interested, and I'll send
you the guidelines and work with you to make it happen.
(cricketbidleman at gmail.com). Do not send your reply to the entire list! We
want everyone else to be surprised.

Thanks so much! Also, share this with anyone who you think might be
interested. I look forward to hearing from you!

Best,
Cricket X. Bidleman
