Hello Kaiti,

I have two questions and one solution to your problem. The first question is do you subscribe to Music Match in iTunes? If you do not then the playlists you create on one device might not automatically show up on another device automatically. The second question is have you checked that you are subscribed to the same Apple ID on all devices you use for iTunes music. I know this sounds obvious and all but from time to time you might use a new or different machine with iTunes and the ID associate with your Apple account might not be sharing music under the same ID.

As for a solution to this problem I would first recommend checking the account you are signed into on all your devices in which you use Apple music. Next I would go to the device you first created playlists on and see if the playlist and music are still showing up there. Finally if it is not, navigate to the Store tab in iTunes and sign out, then sign back in to your Apple music account. Once this loads navigate to the preferences option in iTunes and find where the Apple Music check box is located and ensure that it is checked. It might help if you uncheck it then recheck it in a few seconds to get it to refresh. The last thing I would do if you are using an iDevice such as an iPhone, iPod, or iPad is to navigate to the Store option under settings and uncheck the Apple Music check box, then re-check it for the same reason. Give it a few minutes to update and after restarting your devices hopefully your music will appear.

In summary Apple did make some updates to their Music features which did cause some people to lose playlists, podcasts, and music but Apple did fix this in most situations. As of right now there should be no reason you would be losing music from Apples end. I hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to reach out off list and I will see what I can do.
