Hi all,
I am Suman Rath and am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in
management at West Virginia university.
I have really enjoyed reading through the posts on this list as some
of the issues reported here are things I go through.
For example, I have been struggling to face down issues of inequality
over the last few months as I tried taking up stats courses.
My disability office refuses to provide me with tactile representation
o graphs and they call this gold standard accomodation which is really
wierd. They say that they are empowered only to provide reasonable
accomodations.
Being an international student, I am fromIndia, it has been tough to
be blind and from a new place!
However the list has provided me with a lot of comfort as I see that
there are others facing similar if not the same issues.
Warm Regrds,
Suman.
