[nabs-l] issue with iphone and braillenote touch in terminal mode?

Hi,
I have a problem with my iphone.
Whenever I connect it to my braillenote touch to use the touch as a braille display, voiceover speaks the contents of the screen, but my touch displays items from the rotor, along with a number.
For example, "10 characters, 9 lines, or 8 words." I didn't change any settings that I'm aware of which may cause this behavior.
Has anyone else seen this?
I'm running iOs 10.1.1
Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
