Hi Elizabeth thanks for your message.  Your Disability office 
does have the right to contact your professor to discuss the 
structure of the class.  Before transfering to a four-year 
university I was taking classes at my community college.  When I 
decided to take an oceanography class the person in charge of 
Disability Support Services contacted my professort to discuss 
the structure of their class.
