[nabs-l] Office Hours

You can just show up if they have scheduled office hours, but
it's good practice to let them know ahead of time and make an
appointment. For one thing, this lets the professor tell you to
come at a different time if they already have an appointment so
you don't have to sit around outside their office waiting if
they're meeting with someone else. Depending on what you want to
talk to them about, letting them know you're coming ahead of time
also lets them find your paper or bring up your transcript or
whatever before you get there.

Subject: [nabs-l] Office Hours

Hi,
I was just wondering if these who meet with your professors
during their office hours usually let their professors know ahead
of time that you are coming, or do you just show up?
So far I have been arranging all my meetings ahead of time with
the teacher by appointment during the office hours.
Thanks,
Vejas
