I think your opinion is correct. Integrity is important, even if you're
sighted.

I mean in the sense of both. I had a client I was working with, and he
talked me down in price because he said he was blind and didn't have the
money right now. I understand about not having money, been there, done that;
however, I shouldn't go down in price just because someone is blind, Or am I
seeing that wrong? I mean, I'm blind, and I don't let that stop me. There
were some other issues, like integrity and communication on his part;
however, I still feel my price was accurate for the work being done. Any
opinions? I can expand, if need be, to bring more clarification, just want
to see what others think.

Hi Aaron,
Do you mean ripping off in the sense of money or of people trying to trick
you?
If money-related, then you can use Money-Reader on the phone to make sure
that you have the right amount. If I have 1 5-dollar bill and 4 1's, I like
to ask "Which one is the 5?"
In social situations, though, if you think someone is tricking you then
maybe you can tell by their tone of voice and, if they're with their
friends, probably whispering and snickering.

Hey guys,

I know I haven't been on this list posting a lot. For that I do apologize.
However, I wanted to let you all know that college is worth it.
I am 4
months out from graduating with my BS in Music with a concentration in audio
production and minor in communications. It's been a long road ahead and an
uphill battle, but it's been worth it. The connections I've made, the
friends, I've made, the awesome people I've had the pleasure to help record
their music. All worth the struggle and pain. I do have a question though.
In a sighted world, how do you deal with (even in the blindness
community)
how do you deal with people who try to rip you off? Since we can't read body
language and eye movements, how do you guys deal with this?

Thanks,
