Hi Jessica,
Are you looking for Braille or audio textbooks? Are these for
college?
If I can't find a textbook on Bookshare, I'll buy a print copy,
then have DSS scan it. The PDF's are then put on my USB stick by
chapter. BARD is a good web site for audio books.
You could also hire a reader. At my DSS they find the reader by
department, although the DSS staff are also very willing to read
something for me (as long as I can let them know in advance, of
course).
Hope this helps,
Vejas

Subject: [nabs-l] Having a hard time finding textbooks

Hi,
I need to find a few textbooks.
I have the isbn numbers, but Googling them, and searching other
sources, yields no helpful results, and sometimes nothing at all.
What can I do?
Where can I go to get these books?

Thanks,
Jessica
