accmmodations.=20=20Some=20of=20these=20accommodations=20were=20originally=
=20not=20
given=20to=20me,=20but=20I=20had=20a=20meeting=20with=20them=20(in=20the=20=
middle=20of=20the=20
summer)=20to=20clarify=20things=20with=20them.=20=20Since=20they=20hadn't=20=
worked=20
with=20a=20totally=20blind=20student=20before,=20and=20understood=20what=20=
I=20needed=20
them=20for=20after=20the=20meeting,=20they=20were=20much=20more=20willing=20=
to=20
utilize=20most=20of=20them.=20=20For=20example,=20they=20were=20unsure=20wh=
at=20the=20
purpose=20of=20me=20needing=20an=20I-Phone=20for=20exams=20was,=20but=20whe=
n=20they=20saw=20
it=20connects=20to=20my=20braillenote,=20they=20granted=20it.=20=20Similarl=
y,=20the=20
use=20of=20talking=20to=20professors=20about=20modifying=20assignments=20wh=
ich=20
are=20too=20visual.
Also,=20if=20you=20are=20clear=20on=20what=20you=20need,=20you=20could=20ma=
ke=20things=20
better=20for=20future=20blind=20students.=20=20My=20DSS=20didn't=20know=20w=
hat=20a=20
Perkins=20Brailler=20was,=20but=20when=20they=20saw=20the=20one=20I=20used=
=20(which=20I=20
had=20gotten=20from=20rehab),=20they=20brought=20one,=20for=20myself=20and=
=20any=20
other=20future=20blind=20students.
