Hi Cricket, I attended summer program at the Colorado Center the
summer before I started my college freshman year. The motivation was
that I wanted to improve my travel and cooking skills before I started
college. I know some people take the full 6-9 month program but I
didn't want to do that. I wanted to start college right away I figured
if I really wanted to do 6-9 months long program I could go after I
graduate from college.

I learned a lot and I do think that my travel and cooking skills
improved significantly. Once I started college, I was put into or I
put myself into circumstances where I had to do independent traveling
and cooking so I don't forget what I learned from the summer program.
I am about to graduate college and I do not plan on attending a
training program at least not at this point in my life.

Hope you get the funding to attend the summer program.
